Welcome to the Freelance Advisor forum and thanks for such a great first post! i'm so impressed you've read all our articles... you must be our biggest fan!

I'll let other people give advice but (if I were you) I would talk about your skills, what you can do, what you've done. If you can prove you can get the job done age is irrelevant. What you do is the most important thing, whether you are 14 or 84. You should of course act professionally if you want to charge people money, they will expect a good 'grown-up' job, but if you can deliver that then go for it!
