That's broadly accurate in many cases SMG. Many of you moan about being at the mercy of agencies, well we have our balls in a vice by the clients much of the time.

A friend has just called me to tell me about the invoicing terms he's just been offered. Direct to the client, they've insisted on four months from invoicing.

He moaned, their response was "it's what we pay the agencies".

I implored him to drop it and run if they won't budge it down.

If the company is solvent and has a good credit rating, where's the problem? You want to be in buinsess, on occasion you'll have to take the hit like every other business. You might have to look at overdraft arrangements, of course, but that's trivial.

You want to get paid weekly, get a real job.
