Default Rolling news coverage

I'm ashamed to say that I can't take my eyes off the rolling news coverage. Not because of the breaking story (there isn't really much happening tbh) but because I can't believe how low media outlets stoop nowadays.

What's worse, there's plenty of experts that tell you that media coverage is a great way to encourage copy cats. This article pretty much nails it:

Did the media help pull the trigger on this shooting spree? : Johann Hari

Thing is, several hours into this gluttony of news coverage not much has happened really, despite the news crews trying to make it sound like it has.

What next?

I dont blame the media. They just report what sells. It is the people who read/buy the most lurid headlines that cause the media to write such rubbish.
