How much cognac do you need to row across it?

Brandy maker Courvoisier said it had created a “gigantic punchbowl” filled with 1,000 litres of alcohol, “so big you can row across it”.

Assuming cognac is roughly as dense as water, I make 1000 litres equal in volume to 1 cubic metre?

So even if 20cm deep, it would be 225cm * 225cm - hardly big enough to row across?

Sounds like stanard media hype to me - or have I got my maths wrong?

I think this is a rather clever attempt to get people (like you and me) talking about it BrilloPad. Our good friend Mr. Branson is a master at these types of PRs. Maybe you should have a think about doing something to generate a bit of interest in brillopad.com? Now let me think......what about naked hand gliding?

If I wanted to go naked it would probably be outside number 10. The papers could refer to it as Downing Streak.....
