Fact is, if you come around a bend and are surprised by a cyclist, you're going too fast and you need to work on your driving awareness.
Before you criticise all cyclists, see what it's like to be on the bike:
The Cycling Lawyer: "What's that camera doing on your head?"
I think you need to read up on what vehicle excise duty is for. It is NOT to pay for roads, and hasn't been since 1937.

Tell me Bez, how much driving do you actually do at the moment? Do you commute to the office? If so, how far is it and how long does it take?

Frankly. I don't give a rats @rse what it's like to be on the bike. Never have and never will my law-spouting little friend.
FACT #1: cyclists are, most of the time, a royal pain in the backside. My point was simply to highlight the fact that in my honest opinion they should be banned from the roads during certain 'rush-hour' periods.
FACT #2: They create more congestion, frustration and road rage that anything else out there.
Now stick that in your spokes and smoke it
