Jet crashes over Atlantic

I've been following this since it broke this morning. Such a shame - it started off as simply lost radar contact, then moved on to confirming that it would have ran out of any fuel so it was definitely lost.

I feel for all the families involved - finding out what happened, and thus preventing this happening again - is looking difficult at the moment with the limited data. I doubt the plane will ever be found although I'm sure wreckage will find its way to some shores.

I saw this, and I think you're probably right, no westerners so nobody's interested. Rather like Drew Curtis' theories about Blonde White Chicks being the only ones to get tragic news coverage in the states (probably applies to the UK as well).
