Default El Gordo

It wasn't until tonight that I realised the Tony Blair resigned as prime minister in June 2007.

That means that (if he survives that long) by the end of the month we would have had El Gordo as our Prime Minister for TWO YEARS.

Can anyone believe that we've had to put up with him for that long?

Has it really been that long? Mr Brown, in his defence, has worked tirelessly over the last 2 years in what is a pretty thankless job. Having said that, I do believe he is completely blinkered to the real world and for that reason I’m heading down to the local polling office this morning to vote on the right side for the first time in almost 20 years.

He's worked tirelessly... and aimlessly. He's only defence/argument at the moment is that Labour are working hard to get the country out of a recession and that the Tories don't have any policies to do that. Well, I'm sorry, he, as Chancellor, for so long had a hand in the current state of play.
