I know the feeling, get the 'mate' line all the time.

In my experience most recruiters don't actually understand the market they operate in, such as the legal nuances and what umbrella companies actually do - the number of times I've been asked about dividends by them is unreal.

I've dealt with too many bad recruitment agents to give the rest of them any credit.

I'm sure we all have, however I'm sure plenty of decent recruitment agents have dealt with bad contractors....
