Default Weekly poll (09/07/09)

This weeks poll is about the proposed Agency Workers Directive. News has been slowly brewing about this and it's beginning to pick up speed on discussion boards too. We think that the debate about this has only just begun.

So, after reading up on this, do you think you are ready for the Agency Workers Directive?

For me this has crept up. Sites like this definitely need to lend more 'airtime' to this

Hate to say it, but there's a pretty good explanation of it all in Freeelancing Matters edition 20, which can be found on the link below.

This is an online reader version, may be a bit slow to load. Rest of the mag is worth a look-see, while you're there.

It might be there, but how many people read that? At a guess, what's the percentage of freelancers that actually do? Evidently, just those that are in the PCG.

I'm not knocking that, I'm just saying this needs a BIG push.

Well, as 'businesspeople' it's our job to learn about it. So lets make sure it keeps in the public eye - in the very least on this forum - and we follow it's developments.

Agreed?

OK, but this is good example of why PCG membership is about a lot more than IR35 insurance...

I have asked the question about why the mag isn't immediately obvious on the main wesbite.
