This silly day where the news outlets report any silly, insignificant rumour as if it's fact. Players spotted in airports, shopping centres etc. etc. etc.

A pretty uneventful day really. Nico Kranjcar going to spurs and that was about it. BTW - i'm putting good money on Portsmouth going down this year - they are doomed.

what I love on deadline day is the 'my mate works at the chippie opposite the KC Stadium and David Villa and his agent have just bought two large cod and chips'. Really that was the most boring transfer deadline day ever.
