This week we reported that there is a gender pay gap in many sectors of the contracting community, and it appears that the largest gap is in financial services and banking sector.

One reason given by the president of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs (BAWE) was that "part of the problem is 'a little bit' women's own doing" due to concerns such as childcare commitments.
