Are you a social networking addict?

I was talking to some Filipino friends last night about Facebook. They were amazed to discover that I didn't spend my time on Facebook playing games. Farmville and Farm town being their popular choices. Some of them actually spend several hours per day playing these games.

Hardly surprising then that more than 50% of employers completely block employees from accessing social networking sites at work.

So that got me thinking about the whole social networking scene. A lot of people will use the popular sites - Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. How long does it take to read all of the updates or do a lot of people not bother?

What networking sites do fellow Coffee shop readers use? Do you have a particular favourite? And do you think they become addictive?

Friendster is a hit in Asia

Yes MorrisLove, Friendster is very popular in Asia but I think Facebook's starting to take over.

I prefer Facebook over Friendster because you can block certain people from viewing your photo albums, thus saving unnecessary embarrassment if you have work-related friends!
