Working fathers are unhappy with their work-life balance
Nearly two-thirds of fathers would like to spend less time at work and more time at home. At least that's what a new report from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) suggests. Apparently the majority of working fathers are unhappy with their work-life balance. The Fathers, Family and Work report found that that 62% of fathers thought that dads should spend more time caring for their children.
Do the father's really mean they want to work less hours? That would no doubt lead to less pay, which is probably not what they want.
However in the Internet Age would it not be possible for employers to be more flexible? For example giving office workers have the option to Work from Home for part of the week.
