There's rumblings going on that Tony Blair may be a candidate to become the president of the European Union.
The ex-PM has not confirmed he wants the job, which will only exist when the EU Treaty is ratified by all 27 states.
Mr Brown's spokesman said: "If the treaty is ratified and if Tony Blair wishes to be a candidate for the role, the prime minister has clearly said he will have his full support."
Knowing Mr. Blair's love of being in the limelight, I'm sure he'd relish the opportunity to become the EU president. But do we want him there?
In fact, do we really want to be in the European Union at all?
