i'd recommend not hating mobile phone users considering they probably make up 99% of the country's population. my mum was the same as you until she actually got a mobile and realised how useful (and necessary) they are.

Patchgirl - I have a couple of friends who absolutely LOVE their iphones and no doubt would highly recommend them. I think the similar (and cheaper) option is a blackberry which is just as good but slightly less flashy! Good luck choosing!

iPhones are available on Orange now... this is good.

Question is... will it be "wholly and exclusively" for business?

Apps could be an interesting expense item, I have no idea what HMRC would say about something like a spirit level app.
