I've seen some stuff for the AEMC on here, and notice that we have Mr Jonathan Hughes as a representive of them on here.

I'll admit I'm new to contracting, and until I came on this site I had never heard of this organisaiton. My question is simple: what is the benefits to me, as a contractor, of choosing a provider that is part of this group? I see that they're meant to be complaint, but if they do happen to go tits up how does that help me? Are there procedures in place to reimburse me any lost funds from such a scheme?
