Right then. So the likes of Sanzar, AML and Bedouin have been royally put to bed following the ruling last week.

But where do you think the contractors that were working under these schemes will end up?

Zzzzzzzzz

I think this forum is dieing.

As for the umberella workers, I am sure the companies are busy with legal teams working on the way around the problem - nothing will change other than a few more hoops to jump through.

I think you've thrown umbrella and ebt into the same fiery furnace. ebts use (or did use) the term 'umbrella' as a way of adding credence to their offering in the eyes of a recruiter. The way they remunerate a contractor however couldn't be more different.

Serves them right not using a reputable umbrella company in the first place! Greedy contractors - if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

Yes, because all brollies are whiter than white. Get real.

I could probably pull up any umbrella website you say and point out claims that technically aren't dodgy, but depending on the practice in reality could be.

And don't get me started on what sort of expenses they would state I could claim if I was to ring for an 'off the record' chat as a potential new 'employee'
