Default Looking for work

How's everyone else's search for work going? My contract was terminated with 4 months to run just before Christmas and I'm still looking. Getting more flexible by the day!

I'm currently in contract until April, but don't forget people you're only ever there as long as your notice period.........

My contract finished just before Christmas, and while I am in a sound financial position at the minute, I can't help but get a little scared at the prospect of job hunting. Maybe I should work for a bank. I hear their bonuses are good this year....

don't talk to me about them (the banks) - worked for a grand total of 4 (yes four!) last year before it all went belly up. I'm now on contract until the end of June......i'll be okay.....I think

I've found a lot of people are taking full time work at the moment. Never issued so many P45s!

I'm not sure what's worse at the moment - Getting contracts is like swinging through the trees catching shorter and shorter vines, with fewer vines to catch. Then again being a perm has never been my thing, i like the diversity short term contracts can offer.
