Angry Rock star stole my margin!

no, wrong...very

Some horrible little man has just persuaded one of my contractors not to take up a 12 month assignment I've just spent the last 3 weeks putting together.

I have the perfect contractor for the perfect role. The client is very happy, I am very happy, the contractor was very happy until Mr 'I once did a warm up gig with Coldplay' stuck his narrow minded opinion into the mix...

Why is it that some people are so heavily influenced by their friends and family? This contract was nothing short of PERFECT, now i'm back to square one. A bad bad day at the office...

Hi Dave, we had a horrible day as well yesterday. Unfortunately three deals went down that we'd spent time and effort working on. Here's to a better day today!

I amazed you talk so openly about margin on this board Dave . What about the client, surely they're unhappy as well? I know you have your margin to worry about but it may not have been the best gig for the contractor.

sorry mate...

Dave, surely you can find another contractor to fill this position? I was told that for every contract role, there's anything up to 30-35 people that could fufill the assignment...

Had he signed anything?

No?

Well, no deal was done then. Man up, get back out there and refill the position. If you can't deal with a little hiccup like that then you're not cut out to be an agent.
