Can you prove at any point that they lied? Does any of their literature explicitly state this? Or does it just say "under certain circumstances"?

Bob Jones has some in-depth stuff up on this site and is an ex-tax inspector so really knows his stuff.

This is probably the most relevant part to you:
Expenses guide

In a nutshell, most of their employees move from site to site whilst 'employed' by them, and there is reasonable expectation that you will do the same as that's what you've signed up for.

However, you have now said that you will be leaving so won't have another site. Therefore your current workplace has become permanent.

Not much you can do about it.

I think that Beefy198 has pretty much knocked the nail on the head there Xaromir.

Indeed I did

Xaromir, to take it further, you are talking about mis-selling and that they misled you. Did you at any point not consider it a good idea to ask HOW you can claim these expenses when hardly any other employee in the country can?

If you had, and I believe that it is a perfectly logical question, I'm sure they would have said something along the lines of:

"Because you will plan to work more than one contract with us we can class each one as a temporary workplace. That entitles you to claim certain expenses"

Which answers all your concerns/comments.

Those links are very helpful, thank you, but I still have concerns about their approach. Their website, for example, states nothing about this.

*sigh*

I very much expect that that depends on which way you read it. You've obviously chosen to read it a very certain way.
