Default What if...? Suggest your conundrums for upcoming FS articles

Hello all,

I'm a freelance news editor for Freelance Supermarket and wanted to say hi and introduce a new series of articles that we're proposing.

The series is: What if...?

So we'll be taking questions that you have like...

What if I've not saved the cash for my tax bill?
What if my one big client has gone bust?
What if I can't find a new contract?

...and providing some answers.

I thought it would be nice to involve Freelance Supermarket readers and forum members in the process, so tell us what you would like to know about.

Are you wrestling with a conundrum connected to freelancing or contracting?

Would you like us to investigate a problem or an area of concern?

Let us know what you would like us to write about.

Try to phrase your question as "What if [problem]?"

Thanks in advance,

Leif

I suggest something like...

what if I'm investigated by HMRC?
what if I'm caught by IR35?
what if I lose my contract?
what if my client goes bust?
what if my agency goes bust?

you should also consider a series of 'how to' articles..

how to close down a company
how to stay outside IR35
how to negotiate your rate
how to land a long term contract
how to pay your corporation tax bill

etc etc

Just so we're clear, I want commision for these ideas.

Thanks for the suggestions SMG! Your commission cheque is lost in the post.
