Default Freelancer needs

Hi all, I am new to this site and am looking to network with fellow freelancers working in social media, marketing, events and editing.

blur Marketing is a digital crowdsourced agency, meaning that we manage a crowd of skilled marketing professionals on our online platform. We work with both clients and freelancers to cater to their specific niche.

We believe in fairtrade when working with our freelancers and only look to recruit the most talented. We will pay you 50% of the project before it has begun and there is no charge in joining our crowd. All you will need to produce before you are chosen from our client, is a general proposal on the project. You will gain an opportunity to work with big clients and continue working with them since you will gain a one to one relationship with them.

I have found that many people often misconceive my purpose and our purpose of the agency since the home of our freelancing network is on a ning site.

I was also for tips and advice in networking.

Some feedback would be awesome! Thanks!

The site doesn't explain what it actually does, and to read the T&Cs you need to create an account. I would rather read them BEFORE signing up to something like this.

What's the spread of work? i.e. what's the percentage of each type of work? What's the average value of work? What mix of nationalities are on the site, and where are most of the clients based?
