The REC is celebrating the 5th anniversary of its Industry Research Unit and last Wednesday they published a new Research Sourcebook in honour of the event.

The Unit has produced 50 reports since its inception and these are brought together and summarised in the new publication. UK contractors who regularly contact recruitment agencies could be amongst those to benefit from the document.

The REC hopes this document will become a recruiters' bible for those wanting to build their business and demonstrate their professionalism.

The book is a powerful source of market intelligence and provides information that can help recruiters benchmark performance, win tenders, strengthen their relationships with clients, devise powerful business plans and access best practice.

The Director of Research at the REC, Roger Tweedy, said the launch marks an important milestone for the IRU. He believes that a lot of recruiters will be amazed at the depth of knowledge the REC now possesses and how the Sourcebook can help them win business and project the industry in a positive light.

The REC believes in focusing on practical research that really makes a difference and the new book is a brilliant showcase for this research.

The sourcebook is being sent to all recruiter members of the REC so they can improve their commercial advantage in an ever increasingly competitive and dynamic market place.
