The solution involved the development of contract quality assurance rules to be configured to run against a conformance engine (Wordsensa QA). Description:I led a team within the Franchise Performance Directorate of Lloyd’s (FPD), working on the pilot for the Performance Management Data Project. We conducted a Data Quality Assessment of data submitted from nine Managing Agents who had participated in the pilot. I was exposed to substantial volumes of market data and my role focused around liaising with the business in order to derive a specification of data quality and cleansing business rules. These were in turn implemented by the technical team into a DQ Assessment engine where the quality of the data could be visualised as a series of scorecards. I then conducted analysis of the data quality results outputted from the scorecards and documented the interpreted findings in order to make recommendations to the project sponsors to assist them in deciding if the market data was of sufficient quality for the pilot to progress to the next stage.more »
