
There is further professional training available including working towards qualifications from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
REC Qualifications include:
- Certificate in Recruitment Practice – suitable for people who are new to the recruitment industry.
- Diploma in Recruitment Practice – suitable for recruitment consultants who have about a years experience.
Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) degree in Recruitment Practice. – suitable for experienced recruitment consultants who are looking for a long term career within the industry.
CIPD qualifications include:
- Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment and Selection
- NVQ Level 3 in Recruitment.
Some of these courses are available as short fast-track courses at study centres around the UK, or via distance learning. Both the REC and CIPD also offer a range of other short courses to help your professional development throughout your career.
