If you are a self employed worker in the construction industry you may have heard rumours about government changes.
The government have decided that many self employed subcontractors in the UK are not really in business of their own account, and should actually be employees.
This is a similar situation that was faced by contractors in other industries when the government introduced IR35, and therefore could have extremely far-reaching effects.
